Built to Serve

Grace does not just save us from something; it saves us for something. In week three of Built for This, Pastor Dale Hester teaches from Ephesians 2 that we were built to serve God, and that we serve because we are saved, not to be saved.

1. You don't serve to be saved. Salvation is a free gift of grace, and you cannot serve your way into heaven.

2. God created you with something to contribute. You are His masterpiece, and He has given you spiritual gifts to use for the church and His mission.

3. Every part matters. Jesus showed us what a servant looks like when He washed His disciples' feet, and God promotes those who serve faithfully where He has placed them.
