When Faith Stands Alone

On Mount Carmel the prophets of Baal wore themselves out calling on a god who could not answer, while the God of Elijah sent fire. In Battle Tested, Pastor Dale Hester uses 1 Kings 18 to show what happens when we put anything before God, and what it takes to put him back in his rightful place.

1. False gods demand more and deliver less. Success, approval, money, and pleasure never satisfy.

2. Before the fire fell, the altar was repaired. Restoration begins with surrender, repentance, and giving God our whole lives.
