Holy Ghost

Many people are nervous about the Holy Spirit because he has been misrepresented, but he is the helper Jesus promised to every believer. In the opening message of Church Fears, Pastor Dale explains who the Holy Spirit is and why we have nothing to fear.

1. The Holy Spirit helps believers: he draws us to Jesus, makes us more Christlike, and gives the church its power.

2. The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin and of our lack of righteousness, showing us we need Jesus.

3. We hinder the Holy Spirit when we move our faith away from what Jesus did, or when we refuse to submit to him.
