Be the First You

Using a scene from the movie Fighting with My Family, Pastor Cory reminds us not to try to be the next anybody, but to be the first you. In week two of Blockbuster Summer, he teaches from the parable of the talents that the enemy does not have to take your calling, he only has to keep you from using it.

1. Don't downplay what God gave you.

2. Ignore the urge to compare.

3. Give God what you've got. God rewards faithfulness, not fruitfulness.
