1. Our natural desire for greatness must be kept in check, because God is the one who promotes.
2. Greatness requires conversion and change: responding to Jesus like a child, dropping what we are doing when he calls.
3. Conversion and change need humility, because God opposes the proud and gives grace to the humble.
