Matthew was a hated tax collector who cheated and betrayed his own people, and Jesus still looked at him and said, "Follow me." In the first week of the Encounters series, Pastor Dale shows that nobody has gone too far or done too much for God to do something great with their life.
1. Matthew was a sinner who needed a savior.
2. Jesus invites us to come to Him as we are, and God wants to settle things with us.
3. Matthew was asked to follow, and he followed immediately.
